Laura Hinkle is a Program Coordinator at the Center for Global Sustainability (CGS). She earned her Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University, where her work centered on policy analysis and social policy. She also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Louisville. Prior to joining CGS, she gained experience in policy research and program coordination through roles at the Bipartisan Policy Center and The Council of State Governments.
Rising to meet the ambition set out by our global climate commitments demands accelerated actions and commitments between all actors across our society, including states and cities. These sum-of-society actors have incredible leverage to impact the trajectory of greenhouse gas emissions, innovate across our economy, and accelerate the speed of the global clean energy transition.
