This study, published in Nature Communications, found that a host of emerging methods that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere can be critical tools to limit global temperature increases, so long as policymakers don’t overestimate the methods’ role in their climate strategies.

CGS works with partners in Indonesia to advance new and unique research that helps identify key policy maneuvers to support Indonesia’s ambitious climate goals. Our Indonesia program will lead critical joint research on topics of immediate policy interest, helping advance domestic capacity within key analytical organizations.

To advance methane mitigation efforts, CGS launched the Global Methane Abatement Solutions Tracker (G-MAST)—a comprehensive, open-access database designed to support informed decision-making for global methane emissions reductions.
