Marcie Kim DiCocco is the specialist to the director at the Center for Global Sustainability (CGS), where she advances strategic initiatives and organizational coordination through her expertise in international climate policy, diplomacy and cross-sector engagement. She previously served as an international climate policy and engagement specialist in the US Department of State's Office of Global Change, where she acted as a US climate negotiator and coordinated official US delegations to major global climate forums, including COP27 in Sharm el Sheikh, COP28 in Dubai, and COP29 in Baku. DiCocco has also held research and policy roles at the World Resources Institute, the World Wildlife Fund and the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel to the Global Environment Facility. She holds a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and policy from the University of Maryland.
