Rutvik Patel is a data science and engineering professional with experience in machine learning, data engineering, natural language processing, computer vision and geospatial analytics. He currently works as a faculty assistant at the Center for Global Sustainability at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, where he develops automated data collection pipelines, NLP systems, OCR-based document extraction workflows and interactive geospatial dashboards to support sustainability-focused research. Patel holds a Master of Science in data science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering from the University and Institute of Advanced Research in Gandhinagar, India.
