Center for Global Sustainability (CGS) at APPAM 2019

The 41st annual meeting of APPAM's Fall Research Conference is a "multi-disciplinary research conference attracting the highest quality research on a wide variety of important current and emerging policy and management issues." This year's theme, Rising to the Challenge: Engaging Diverse Perspectives on the Issues and Evidence, encourages discussion across disciplinaries, methodologies, and ideologies, as the world looks to sound research from a wide diversity of perspectives to improve and inform policy. 

The conference takes place across 300+ educational programs in a variety of formats, including panels, roundtables, poster presentations, super sessions and special events. CGS research, faculty, and PhD students are participating in many different ways throughout the mutli-day event. 

CGS Director Nate Hultman will be awarded the inaugural World Citizen Prize in Environmental Performance for his role as lead author on the report, Fulfilling America's Pledge: How States, Cities and Businesses are Leading the United States to a Low-Carbon Future
